A pulse shaper for inductive transmitters, in particular camshaft angle transmitters on internal combustion machines, in wich a Schmitt-trigger is connected to the output of the transmitter. A peak value detector (D1, C) is connected to the output of the transmitter and means (R3, R4) are linked therewith in order to set a threshold value for the Schmitt trigger depending on the output of the peak value detector.
