PURPOSE:To add a service processor without increasing the cost by operating it as a user module via an I/O channel normally, detecting it at abnormity and acquiring an error data via the service processor. CONSTITUTION:A changeover circuit 8 in a multi-support processor 13 is thrown normally to the position of an I/O channel 9, and a CRT4, a floppy disc 5 and an I/O module group 6 are operated respectively as one terminal device. An error is informed through an error signal cable 11 at occurrence of error, an error discrimination circuit 7 of the processor 13 discriminates the kind of the error, and when it is required to collect error information the circuit 8 is thrown to the position of the service processor. The processor 13 switched to the processor 10 collects error information to an error generation source. When the switch circuit is thrown to the position of the processor 10 during the job by the channel 9, the job is held, and after the end of job by the processor 10, the channel is restored automatically to the channel 9 and the job is started again. |
