PURPOSE:To form a continuous bead simply by tack welding at high speed while giving the phase difference to a rectification current, which flows to a proceeding electrode and a succeeding electrode of gas shield arc welding, by forming a stable molten pool between both electrodes. CONSTITUTION:In the gas shield arc welding equipment using two electrodes, the alternating current of business frequency having a specified voltage through alternating power source device 6, 6 from an alternating power source 5 is inputted to rectification device 7, 7 to rectify. A weld current I1 is supplied to obtain the molten depth of materials in the proceeding electrode 1 and a weld current I2 less than said I1 is supplied to the succeeding electrode 2 to stop the molten metal. At the same time, said welding currents I1, I2, are supplied from the different phase of an alternating current 5. In this way, the arc vibration formed by both electrodes is generated to secure the molten metal and the continuous bead is formed stably for high speed tack welding. |
