Lathe with a groove-milling device which can be mounted on a tool turret displaceable in the X and Z direction, so that, in particular, feather-key grooves can be cut in corrugated workpieces by means of a 4-axis lathe. For machining the groove side walls, a toolholder head part holding the milling spindle is guided displaceably in the Y direction on a base part of this toolholder; as a result of a movement of a second tool turret in the direction of the X axis and a deflecting gear in the toolholder which has an actuating element coupleable to the second tool turret, the head part can be displaced in the Y direction.
