The invention "Arrangement consisting of hollow edge rollers for door and window roller blinds and of a roller connector" makes it possible to actuate roller blinds of different lengths of a window installation by a non-positive connection of the corresponding edge rollers of the roller blinds via a single mechanical drive, it being possible to arrange directly next to one another the guide rails for the roller blinds which are situated next to one another. According to the invention, the edge rollers situated next to one another are interconnected by a roller connector in such a manner that a non-positive connection of a multiple edge roller to be driven directly to one or more multiple edge rollers to be driven indirectly by the latter arises, an output of the force of the rotary movement being applied inside the first roller, which guides the longer roller blind, which output, to generate the necessary rotational operation of the neighbouring edge roller to be driven indirectly, interacts with the shorter roller blinds, the synchronous opening and staggered closing of the roller blinds to be driven indirectly being carried out, via a coupling applied inside one of these edge rollers and via a drive, by means of the longer roller blind, e.g. door roller blind. The invention consequently makes possible, via the direct drive of the longer roller blind, which acts for a longer time, by a non-positive connection inside the multiple edge rollers, a connection of the drive rollers which exists for only a predetermined time.
