In order to improve and reduce the costs of the production, the erection and the function of a flexible outdoor silo with simple means and also to ensure a safe and cheap protection from rain of the stored bulk materials, the feet bearing the load-bearing structure of the outdoor silo are produced from round pipes. The rain protection comprises a rainproof jacket, enclosing the outdoor silo, and a rainproof roof covering the silo roof and having a lower edge which spans the load-bearing structure and the upper edge of the rainproof jacket, such that, between the latter and the edge there is an opening for the escape of accumulating vent air.
