A dispenser for the metered delivery of spherical, tablet-type or pill-type products comprises a container (1), having an outlet opening (10), and a slide (11), having a product receiving pocket (22). The slide (11) is fastened to the container (1) in such a way that it can be moved between a position, in which the receiving pocket (22) is aligned with the outlet opening (10) to receive a particular quantity of the product, e.g. one ball, tablet or pill, and a position, in which the receiving pocket (22) is exposed to deliver the particular quantity of the product above the upper side (6) of the container. In this case, the slide is constructed in such a way that it covers the outlet opening (10) towards the outside in both positions. <IMAGE>
