PURPOSE:To attain effective utilization of a line and to attain frequent synchronization of a counter by providing one start bit before each character signal and switching and inverting 1, 0 of a binary start bit at each character so as to decrease a non-data bit. CONSTITUTION:Only the start bit ST is given at the head of a character and 1, 0 of the start bit of binary one bit is inverted at each character. Since each character is constituted by 8 binary 1, 0 bits, consecutive 0s or 1s may take place in the worst case, but one inversion is possible for two characters. Thus, the synchronization of the counter is executed at an interval of two characters or below and since non-data is one bit per character, the transmission efficiency is improved. |
