PURPOSE:To speed up the transmission speed by providing a gate circuit between a local bus and a system bus of a data transmission section, opening the gate circuit at transfer to transfer directly data of a transfer buffer to an output circuit of the transmission section. CONSTITUTION:A gate circuit 27 is arranged between a local bus 26 of a data transmission section and a system bus 4. In transferring data, a transfer control section 30 gives a control signal to the gate circuit 27 to open the gate circuit 27. The system bus 4 and the local bus 26 of the data transmission section 2 are connected directly via the gate circuit 27 to transfer the data from a transfer buffer 13 of the data transmission section 1 to the input circuit 24 of the transmission section 21 by one operation not through the transfer buffer 23 of the data transmission section 2. Thus, the transfer time is reduced in comparison with a conventional transmission system to speed up the data transmission.
