An illuminator for timepieces, consisting of a light-permeable dial component, a light source provided on the lower side of the dial component, and a figure member on which figures or letters are projected by the light from the light source. The time is displayed clearly by the light passing through the dial component and the figures, and a noticeable, ornamental illuminator can be obtained. A light-shielding layer is provided suitably on the rear surface of the dial component for the purpose of hiding the motion work. |
