<p>PURPOSE:To increase oxygen concn. of oxygen-enriched air in a cycle for obtg. oxygen-enriched air using an N2-adsorber by overlapping a part of an evcuation stage to a pressure equalizing stage. CONSTITUTION:In a cycle for generating oxygen-enriched air continuously by a pressure swinging adsorption process, oxygen-enriched air generated in plural numbers of adsorption tower 1, 2 packed with an N2 adsorber comprising zeolite, is collected in a surge tank 7. At the time when the adsorption reaches a break through point where the adsorption of N2 is in saturated condition in said adsorption tower 1, 2, the suction side of the feed air is opened to atmospheric air and the towers are evacuated. In this stage, oxygen-enriched air is flowed back from the surge tank 7 simultaneously, and a part of the evacuation stage is overlapped to a pressure equalizing stage.</p> |
