PURPOSE:To enable shockless continuously variable operation of a transmission gear to be carried out smoothly and certainly by interposing a parallel motion mechanism with a link inside the pulley of 2 continuously variable transmission gear. CONSTITUTION:A drive pulley 4 is set up with 2 sheets of circular disk-like members 14a, 14b and at least one of these members, for instance, the disk-like member 14a is installed slidably in axial direction. In addition, a parallel motion mechabnism 18 is interposed in a V-shaped groove 16 formed between the disk- like members 14a and 14b. In this parallel motion mechanism 18, 2 pieces of mutually crossing members 20a, 20b form a link 20, where respective one ends of the members 20a, 20b are attached to the disk-like members 14a, 14b positioned inside the groove 16 and other ends are fixed to a head 24 for moving the groove 16 up and down. |
