PURPOSE:To provide a micro-adjuster for a damper for correction of air temperature to keep both ignitability and combustibility always at the optimum regardless of the temperature in the air at the time of ignition, and to sufficiently utilize the effect of preheated air, by controlling the opening of an air duct by a thermister provided in a flowing passage of preheated air. CONSTITUTION:A boiler and an air preheater 1 are connected by a flue 14 to pass combustion gas, and an air passage is formed by an upper air duct 31. The air preheater is also connected to a fan by a lower air duct 32. A thermister 2 inserted into the upper air duct 31 consists of a temperature sensor tube 11 and a sealed liquid 7 sealed in the tube, and the liquid sealed part is connected to the liquid sealed part of a drive controller 10 by a connecting tube 13 consisting of capillary tubes. The temperature sensor 12 is heated by the preheated air, the sealed liquid in the temperature sensor tube is expanded to actuate a piston in a drive controller 10 to open a damper 4, so that the air rate from the damper can be kept at a predetermined rate. |
