<p>A fluid transport line comprising coaxial inner and outer metal pipes, the inner pipe of which is intended to transport a thermally insulated fluid, is formed by successive sections, the inner and outer pipe portions of which are connected by means of metal rings interposed between successive sections in junction zones. To reduce the effect of the thermal losses thus created, a closed chamber containing a thermally insulating medium is defined round each junction zone by a metal shell which is welded to the outer pipe portions of the successive sections.</p> |
