PURPOSE:To prevent application of an excessive pressure difference on a differential pressure detector in the rated operational condition, by installing pressure equalizing valve, pressure reducing orifice and differential pressure detector and placing the pressure equalizing valve and pressure reducing orifice in an open position respectively at the time of excessively high pressure difference. CONSTITUTION:In a flow detector for pump minimum interlocking using throttling mechanism 1, pressure piping 2, high differential pressure detector 7, low differential pressure detector 4 and instrumental valve 3, a pressure equalizing valve 5 and pressure reducing orifice 6 are connected and at the time of an excessive differential pressure in the rated operational condition, etc., when a pressure difference above the predetermined value is generated in the high differential pressure detector 7, the pressure equalizing valve 5 is opened for prevention of application of an excessive pressure difference to this piping and when the valve 5 is opened, the orifice 6 is opened for prevention of pressure rise on the low-pressure side. Thus, breakages of differential-pressure detectors 4, 7 in the rated operational condition caused by am excessive pressure is prevented and, flow-measuring efficiency in a low flow condition can be improved. |
