PURPOSE:To obtain the title orifice plate having a problemless strength and a rigidity in a practice use, and a good ink resistance property and also an excellent adhesive property by constituting an orifice plate with a resin provided a metalic coating on the surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:An orifice plate 1 is made with laminating a metalic coating 10 on a surface 11 of the plate formed of resin providing a discharge port 2. The thickness of the metalic coating is prescribed that it is more than 5mum and the uppermost value is approximately 50mum from a point of view of an ink resistance property and a strength. Preferably, it can be obtained a strong plate in a standpoint of a strength, since the plate area is larger when it is used to a top plate type orifice plate than when it is used to an edge type recording head. |
