PURPOSE:To obviate freezing in a hot water circulating circuit, difficulty of a flow due to foreign material, soiling in a hot water supply container, or the like, by carry out heat exchange by the action of a heat transfer medium between a hot water supply container and a bathtub. CONSTITUTION:One end of a heat pipe 8 is extended into a hot water supply container 3 of a hot water supply apparatus (A) through the side wall thereof, and the other end is extended into a heat exchange chamber 10 formed to the side wall section of a bathtub 11 thereby connecting the bathtub 11 with the hot water supply container 3. The heat pipe includes a special heat transfer medium sealed therein, and has fins 9 at parts where the heat pipe is extended into the bathtub 11 and the hot water supply container 3 for increasing the heat exchange efficiency. The heat transfer medium in the heat pipe moves from the part where the temperature is high to the part where the temperature is low, that is, the part located in the bathtub, and the heat cycle is repeated to carry the heat in the hot water supply container to the bathtub to elevate the temperature of the hot water gradually. When the temperature has reached a suitable temperature while one is taking a bath, a circulation hole 15 is closed by a screening plate 16, while the temperature is not sufficient high, the circulation hole 15 is opened. |
