PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent toner having an improved uniform dispersibility of fine grains of a pigment etc. and free from an offset developing and giving an image having a high photographic density by dispersing the fine grains of the pigment etc. contg. a natural or a synthetic resin and a surface active agent in a binding resin. CONSTITUTION:The fine grains such as the pigment etc. are dispersed in an aqueous soln. of the surface active agent and emulsion-polymerized with a monomer such as styrene etc. in the obtd. aqueous soln. to obtain the fine grains contg. the surface active agent and a polymer. The obtd. fine particles are kneaded with the binding resin of a vinylacetate-vinylchloride copolymer etc. while heating and then cooled, pulverized and screened. The excellent toner obtd. by the above mentioned method has stabilized charging characteristics in a broad environmental range of from a low temp.-low humidity to a high temp.-high humidity and gives an clean image having the visibility in the early developing period even if continuously developing. |
