PURPOSE:To enable two substrates to be simultaneously processed in transfer sytem for an electronic circuit substrate like a PC board by using a robot to take two substrates out of a magazine so that the substrates are two by two arranged, supplied to a working section and received two by two in the magazine. CONSTITUTION:The uppermost substrate in a magazine 1 is placed on position 3a of a support bed 3 by a robot 2 and transferred to a position 3b by a conveyer unit 4 to mount the next substrate on the position 3a. Then, two substrates 3a, 3b are transferred simultaneously to an inserting section 6 by a robot 7 and then to a working section 5 to be simultaneously worked. After working, the two substrates are taken out simultaneously to a take-out position 8 and, similarly to the case of insertion, received in a magazine 15 by a robot 10, conveyer unit 13, support bed 9, robot 12, conveyer 14 and transfer robot 16. Thus, the two substrates can be handled simultaneously. |
