PURPOSE:To enhance operability by making it possible to simplify operation for introducing the space of a figure or photograph, by enabling the alteration of a line format on the way of the printing of a sentence. CONSTITUTION:Continuous printing is changed over to one character printing on the way of the printing of a sentence and a carriage is allowed to position at the beginning of the next line by one character printing and, thereafter, a format key 244, an R-key 246 and a register key 250 are operated to change a line format. A continuous printing key 247 is again operated and printing by the new line format thereof is performed to leave out a space necessary for introducing a figure or photograph. Therefore, printing for leaving out a space can be realized by simple key operation. Only various formats are preset and it is unnecessary to consider a layout at all with respect to the sentence stored in a sentence memory region WMA and setting operation is simple. |
