PURPOSE:To prevent a transmission shock taking place when state of operation is changed between low speed made and high speed mode, by maintaining both high speed and low speed clutches to be connected to each other when the rotational speed of the transmission terminal on high speed side accords with that of the transmission terminal on low speed side. CONSTITUTION:When the rotational speed of a high speed gear 22 accords with that of a low speed gear, a high speed clutch is engaged and both high speed and low speed clutches 21, 23 are set in mutually connected situation. At this moments, a pump motor 5 and a pump motor 7 operate as a motor and a pump respectively so that torque may be transmitted from a low speed gear 18 to an output shaft 19. However, capacities of pump motors 5, 7 are corrected and function of both pump motors are reversed. Thus, the state can be smoothly transferred to other state where torque is transmitted from a high speed gear to the output shaft. |
