PURPOSE:To make it possible to remove a strainer to clean the latter without operation of a compressor being stopped, by closing an oil passage which is a main passage on the suction side of an oil pump, with the use of valve means while the function of oil supply may be sustained by an auxiliary oil passage. CONSTITUTION:When an oil strainer 4 is clogged so that it has to be cleaned, a shut-off valve 17 in the oil inlet port 16a of a storage chamber for the strainer 4 and a shut-off valve 18 in an oil hole 11a in an oil pump are closed. Further, the inflow and discharge, into and from the strainer 4, of lubrication oil pooled in an oil sump 3 in the bottom section of a crank casing 1 are cut off. Then, an arrangement is made such that a shut-off valve 21 in a pipe line in an auxiliary oil passage is opened to ensure a forced feed-oil passage, and the oil feed function of the oil pump may be sustained. With this arrangement, the strainer 4 may be easily removed to be cleaned without operation of the compressor being stopped and without the compressor being disassembled, so that the work man-hours required for disassembly and reassembly, and the consumption of coolant and oil may be reduced, thereby economic safety supervision of the compressor may be realized. |
