<p>The apparatus includes a horizontally mounted cylindrical container, arranged for rotation about its longitudinal axis, and divided into two chambers by a diametric perforated wall. Grain is contained in one chamber, and treatment fluid eg. refrigerated air, humidified hot air, is selectively supplied to the other chamber by dust and blower arrangements at each end of the container. The air passes through the perforated wall and through the grain and is sucked out of the grain chamber.</p> |
