<p>Hydrogen sulphide gas and water are passed counter-currently through a number of first phases and enriched gas taken from some of the phases, over a cascade connection and into a second phase. Isotope enriched water is also taken from these and passed on in a cascade flow with the second phase, in order to use the latter fully and improves the performance of the apparatus.
