<p>The slide for a vehicle seat consists of a lower profile (1) fixed to the floor and an upper profile (2) fixed to the seat. Between the profiles are balls. A locking mechanism is made up by a toothed part (7) on the upper profile, which acts with two equidistant catches. The free ends of the teeth point upwards and enter closed holes on the lower profile. The lock is a toothed pad extending through an opening in the upper profile. This is forked and works with a compression spring.</p> |
