PURPOSE:To prevent an electric railcar from running away by interposing at least one of a forward/reverse changeover switch and an acceleration switch in series with a forward/reverse switching electromagnetic contactor. CONSTITUTION:An acceleration switch 13A is interposed in series with a key switch 18, and a forward/reverse changeover switch 12A is provided in series with the switch 13A to construct an exciter of forward/reverse switching electromagnetic contactors 6F, 6R. Since the switches 12A, 13A are interposed in series with the contactors 6F, 6R, which are reset by the resetting of the accelerator or the switch 12A when a railcar runs away to interrupt motors 2A, 2B, thereby stopping the railcar. |
