发明名称 LAMINATED PIEZO-ELECTRIC BODY
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a laminated piezo-electric body with the improved mechanism strength by a method wherein unit plates, which are respectively one formed integrally plural piezo-electric elements in one body using an electrical insulating bonding agent, are laminated. CONSTITUTION:A press molding is performed on seven cylindrical piezo-electric elements 2 using an acrylic resin 5 and the piezo-electric elements 2 are formed as a cylindrical body having a notch 4. The cylindrical body is sliced in a thickness of about 0.5mm and piezo-electric unit plates 1 are prepared. Ag electrodes 5 in a concentric circle form are attached on both faces of the unit plates 1. Protrusions 8 and 9 are respectively provided on the peripheral edges of the electrode plates 6 and 7 at the intervals of 120 deg. and the points thereof are bent in the ambient direction of each electrode in an L-type. The piezo-electric elements 2 of each unit plate 1 are all laminated coaxially among the electrodes 6 and 7 utilizing the notches 4, the protrusions 8 and 9 are disposed on the peripheral edge of the laminated body at each 60 deg. in such a way as not to come into contact to one another and after the unit plates 1 are integrally formed in one body by performing a thermal treatment, a metal band 10 is welded on the points of the protrusions. Since the end faces of each unit plate are all parallel to the piezo-electric elements, no crack is generated in each piezo-electric element when the unit plates are used as a laminated piezo-electric body, and even though a crack is generated, the crack is stopped at the interface with the bonding agent. Moreover, the total area of the piezo-electric elements can be easily increased.
