PURPOSE:To obtain a frozen instant noodle, producible at a low cost, having excellent preservability, and giving a thawed noodle in a short time, by concentrating seasoning soup, gelatinizing the soup with gelatin, enclosing the gel with boiled noodle and ingredients to form a block, and freezing and packaging the block. CONSTITUTION:A seasoning soup is concentrated, added with gelatin, poured into a spherical vessel, and gelatinized to obtain concentrated soup gel 3. The gel 3 is inserted completely into boiled noodles formed in the form of circular disk, and ingredients (garden pea, boiled fish paste, etc.) are arranged on the top of the disk to form a block. The block is frozen, and packaged to obtain the objective frozen instant noodle. The noodle can be served by opening the outer package, transferring the frozen nozzles to a cooking pan, adding a proper amount of water, boiling for several minutes over a strong fire, and dissolving the gel of the concentrated seasoning soup into the boiling water. |
