PURPOSE:To prevent break, deformation, and passing-around of a toner and make the separate process for timing mark formation unnecessary by using a light- transmissive resin film as the base body of a belt-shaped photosensitive body and using a conductive layer joined to this film as a light shielding layer and forming a light shielding window in the conductive layer. CONSTITUTION:With respect to a belt-shaped photosensitive body 6, a light-transmissive conductive layer 62a is formed on a light-transmissive resin film 61, and a double- layered light-transmissive organic semiconductor layer 63 consisting of a CGL layer and a CTL layer is formed on the layer 62a, and a light transmission window 65a is opened in the belt end part of the light-transmissive conductive layer 62a, and a light shielding conductive layer 64 is formed with a conductive paint. A transmission- type optical sensor 24 is arranged and fixed on the moving course of the light transmission window 65a to detect the window 65a. A conductive brush is brought into contact with the light shielding conductive layer 64 to earth it to a device, and the light- transmissive conductive layer 62a extending just under the photosensitive layer 63 is earthed to the device, and the semiconductor part irradiated with light is destaticized. When the conductive brush is placed in the part of the light transmission window 65a, one brush 23a or 23b is brought into contact with the light shielding conductive layer 64. |
