A frame to a leaf, for example a panelled door or wicket or similar furniture parts, is configured such that one pair of parallel parts (posts 1, 2) of the frame is configured as angle pieces having an angle v between the arms of the angle pieces of between 100 degrees and 170 degrees, in addition to which one arm 3 of the angle pieces has sufficient length to receive a hinge on its surface 10 and the end face 5 of the other angle arm is intended to receive a panel or board 6, for example grooved, any other pair of parallel parts 7, 8 of the frame being fastened to the posts by the end faces 9 of these parts 7, 8. If such a frame is used, the commonly available doors, where a door is sought which sits at an oblique angle relative to, for example, the sides of a cabinet, for example a corner cabinet or a differential cabinet, can be simply constructed using a small number of standard components. By configuring a post for a panelled door of this kind as an angle piece having at least one arm which is of sufficient length to allow mounting of a hinge, the prospect is offered of being able to construct a frame for a panelled door in a cheap and simple manner, since such an angle piece can be made by mill-cutting or extrusion. <IMAGE>
