<p>PURPOSE:To prepare rice embryo liquor having mild taste and excellent flavor, and good for health, free from characteristic irritancy of distilled spirit, by fermenting the raw material of distilled spirit, distilling the fermentation product, adding rice embryo to the distillate, and carrying out the ripening of the liquor. CONSTITUTION:Raw material of distilled spirits such as SHOCHU (distilled Sake), whisky, spirits, etc. is added with rice malt, and fermented for 12-15 days to obtain MOROMI (unrefined Sake). The MOROMI is distilled with a pot, and the distillate is ripened in the presence of rice embryo for 1-3 months to effect the impregnation of the active components such as vitamin B, E, calcium, various amino acids, etc. to the distillate. Finally, the residue of rice embryo is separated from the product by filtration.</p> |
