PURPOSE:To remove ringing without damaging positive high voltage current, by a method wherein the series circuit of a resistance and a negative directional diode and the ringing removal circuit connected in juxtaposition with a positive directional diode are provided for the low tension side of a high tension coil. CONSTITUTION:A low tension coil 1 is electromagnetically combinded with a high tension coil 2, and in an apparatus for obtaining high tension output from the high tension coil 2, between the terminal on the low tension side of the high tension coil 2 and the earth 10, a ringing removal circuit 6 connected in juxtaposition with a diode 9 for making the positive directional current b only flow is arranged to be connected to a series circuit with a resistance 7 and a diode 8 for making the negative directional current a only flow. As the result, ringing energy only can be removed by the resistance 7, and the positive current consisting of fundamental wave current and charged current is not attenuated, and so a high voltage apparatus of high performance can be obtained. |
