摘要 PURPOSE:To control a peak current value on charging and avoid the influence on various electrical appliances, by a method wherein a transformer having a plurality of voltage taps is used for charging a condenser and the taps are switched in succession to be charged. CONSTITUTION:The primary side on a transformer 41 is supplied with the output of an AC power source 1, and a condenser 7 is charged with transformed and rectified output on the secondary side, and so far as a charging circuit for interrupting the AC power supply for the primary side when the charged voltage of the condenser 7 comes to the desired value is concerned, a plurality of voltage taps TP1, TP2... are provided for the primary side of the transformer 41 and are respectively arranged to be connected to switches 21, 22... And the taps TP1, TP2... are arranged to be switched in succession and charged at suitable time intervals from the beginning of charging the condenser 7. As a result, the charged current wave is formed in a saw-tooth shape, and so the peak value can be controlled.
