<p>of the disclosure: Dichlorophenylphosphane, C6H5PCl2, is prepared by reacting chlorodiphenylphosphane, (C6H5)2PCl, with phosphorus trichloride, PCl3, at temperatures between about 295 and 700.degree.C. In the lower part of this temperature range, i.e. from about 295 to 500.degree.C, the reaction is preferably carried out under superatmospheric pressure, in particular under autogenous pressure, while in the upper part of the temperature range, i.e. from about 500 to 700.degree.C, atmosphcric pressure is preferably used. Dichlorophenylphosphane is in the main a valuable intermediate in various fields, such as, for example, the crop protection and the polymer sectors.</p> |
