<p>PURPOSE:To fix the angle of inclination of a dot line and obviate distortion of printed characters, by a method wherein at least one synchronizing signal outputted immediately after starting a motor is neglected, and printing is started in response to the next synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:The motor 1 is started by a printing-designating signal inputted externally, a printing paper 3 is fed by a platen 2 driven by the motor 1 through a speed-reducing mechanism, and electric currents are passed to heating resistors in a thermal head 6 in accordance with the synchronizing signal which are outputted synchronously with the rotation of the motor 1 by the functions of a vane wheel 4 fitted to the motor 1 and photo-interrupter 5, thereby printing one dot line at a time. One or two synchronizing signals are outputted from the photo- interrupter 5 in the condition wherein the rotating speed of the motor 1 is not yet stabilized. Therefore, when one synchronizing signal outputted immediately after starting the motor 1 is neglected and printing is started in response to the next synchronizing signal, it is possible to fix the angle of inclination of the dot line and obviate distortion of printed characters.</p> |
