摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a fluorescent color with high intensity and prevent releasing noise or blocking from occurring, by providing a fluorescent substance in proximity to a heat-resistant base, in a thermal transfer recording medium comprising a fluorescent substance in an ink layer. CONSTITUTION:A fluorescent ink comprising a fluorescent substance 2, a wax and a binder is applied to the heat-resistant base 10 to provide the first heat- fusible ink layer 3 in a thickness of about 1-4mum, and a clored ink comprising a coloring agent 3, a wax and a binder is applied thereto to provide the second heat-fusible ink layer in a thickness of about 1-4mum, thereby obtaining the recording medium 1 in which a major portionof the fluorescent substance 2 is present in proximity to the base 10. The ink layers may be provided in a single layer in which the fluorescent substance is unevenly distributed through the specific gradivity difference between the substance 2 and the coloring agent 3. In any case, the amounts of the components used are: the fluorescent substance 5- 40wt%, the coloring agent 1-30wt%, the wax 40-90wt% and the binder 2- 20wt%.
