PURPOSE:To simplify the configuration of a data transmission unit and reduce the cost by transmitting only digital data in the second mode without the data passed through a subcarrier coding/decoding section. CONSTITUTION:The first mode set is different from the second mode set in that digital data is passed through the subcarrier modulating and demodulating section. In the first mode, image signals from an input terminal 1 and digital data subcarrier modulated in a subcarrier wave modulating section 6 are passed via a contact a in a switch circuit 8. In the second mode, signals are transmitted via a contact b in the switch circuit 8 except only computer data from an input terminal 3 which is not passed through the subcarrier modulating section 6. Therefore, the first and second modes can share main carrier wave modulating and demodulating sections 9 and 10, digital processing section 5 and 15 and so on. |
