PURPOSE:To detect temperature without any influence of a magnetic field by arranging a material having smilinear conductivity so that the linear axis is at right angles to the direction of the externally applied magnetic field and measuring the voltage drop of a current flowed along the linear axis. CONSTITUTION:The semilinear conductive material 1 is a rod type material which is thin and long in the direction of the linear axis 1' where the conductivity is highest, and current terminals 2 and 2 as feeding means are fitted to both ends. Voltage terminals 3 and 3 are fitted in the middle of the element 1 so as to detect voltages drops of currents flowed from the geeding means. The element 1 is arranged having the linear axis 1' at rightangles to the direction 4 of the external magnetic field to eliminate the influence of the magnetic field, and voltage drops of feeding to the element 1 are detected at the terminals 2 and 2 in this state to detect variation in resistance, calculating the temperature in the magnetic field. Thus, the temperature is obtained accurately without any influence of the magnetic field. |
