PURPOSE:To eliminate the miss of target detection due to an error in manual map specification by allowing only the area of a manual map to be specified on a radar equipment. CONSTITUTION:A function for setting only the area of the manual map independently in addition to a manual map setting function is given to a manual map setting circuit 54, and when a map area signal of symbol character data on only information regarding a map area is supplied though an output line 501, radar information on the map area is displayed on the CRT7 of an indicating device. The reception blanking of the specified map area, setting and switching of a high detection threshold level, etc., are performed corresponding to a clutter, etc., according to a map area specification end signal from the circuit 54 after confirmation by display observation, thereby eliminating the miss of target detection due to an error in manual map setting. |
