<p>PURPOSE:To carry out the ink-jet recording effective especially for multi-color recording, with clear and excellent color-development, by using a recording material having recording surface consisting of a mixture of a filler and a part of fibrous material constituting the substrate, and a recording liquid having a specific water-content. CONSTITUTION:Ink-jet recording is carried out by combining (A) a recording material wherein the recording surface layer IA is a mixture of a filler 3 (e.g. silica, clay, etc.) and a part of fiber 2 constituting the substrate, and the part of the fiber 2 is close to the recording surface IA and (B) a recording liquid having a water-content of 20-90%. The filler is preferably porous powder having particle diameter of 0.1-20mu, and is dispersed usually in a medium such as water containing a binder, and applied at a rate of usually 1-30g/m<2>.</p> |
