PURPOSE:The titled composition having extremly improved weather resistance, keeping flame retardance without lowering physical properties such as mechanical strength, etc., obtained by blending a flame-retardant polyolefinic resin with an agent for weather resistance and an epoxy type auxiliary for weather resistance. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. flame-retardant polyolefinic resin composition obtained by adding a flame-retardant (e.g., hexabromocyclododecane, etc.) and a flame- retardant auxiliary (e.g., antimony trioxide) to a polyolefinic resin (homopolymer or copolymer of propylene, ethylene, or butene-1, or their mixture) is blended with 0.05-1pt.wt. agent for weather resistance (e.g., 2-hydroxy-4-n-octoxybenzophenone, etc.) and 0.1-3pts.wt. epoxy type auxiliary for weather resistance (e.g., triglycidyl isocyanurate). |
