A lashing device, designed preferably for the lashing of vehicles on a boat deck. The device consists of a locking unit (2), which comprises a restraining arm (10) which is harnessed to a spring (15) against a locking position for a sling (5) which connects to two hooks (3, 4). The sling, furthermore, works in a self-locking way within the locking position via the fact that the traction power in the sling (5) exerts a locking momentum on the restraining arm (10). One end of the sling (5) is located between a crossbar (27) and the yoke (9) in the locking unit (2) to achieve its connection with one (4) of the hooks and connection to the restraining arm (10). If traction power is applied to the sling at this end, a momentum builds up on the restraining arm (10), which momentum works to release the sling.<IMAGE> |
