PURPOSE:To improve an anti-corrosion characteristic, durability, and read/write effect by laminating silicon dioxide film, metallic film, and nitrogen film between a board and recording layer in a photo-electro-magnetic recording medium which is equipped with the recording layer consisting of an amorphous magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:The photo-electro-magnetic recording medium consists of the board 1a of writing side, silicon dioxide film 2a, metallic film 2b, under-layer 2 consisting of layered nitrogen films 2c, recording layer 3 consisting of an amorphous magnetic material, spacer layer 4, reflection film 5, protective layer 6, and bonding layer 7 to bond a protective board 1b. If the silicon dioxide film is provided so that it contacts with the board of writing side, the durability of the recording medium can be improved because it provides a good contact characteristic with the board, especially with a plastic board. The metallic film and nitrogen film which are provided sequencially on them increase moisture-proof characterstic by being laminated, permitting to prevent the corrosion of the recording layer. |
