PURPOSE:To permit a discoid record carrier to use without hindrance in the environment such as a vehicle and boat, etc., where vibration is heavy by such constitution as to contact a material having a large internal loss with said record carrier and rolate the material together with the record carrier. CONSTITUTION:The vibration proof device for discoid record carrier have the material 22 with large internal loss contact with the discoid record carrier 1 at the time of operation and rotate it with the material. If disturbance vibration is added to this device, the vibration of a disc 1 puts a vibration proof pad 22 between a plate 21 having enough rigidity and the carrier, causing deformation of the vibration pad 22. Because of this, the vibration energy of the disc 1 is consumed as deformation energy of the vibration pad, reducing the vibration by resonance of the disc 1 greatly. This permits to use the device in the environment such as a vehicle and boat, etc., where vibration is heavy. |
