PURPOSE:To improve, magnetic efficiency and to attain sopt welding by making the connecting division of an erase back core to an erase front core parallel in shape to the back face of a slider. CONSTITUTION:The erase front core 6 is extended to the outside of the slider 2, and is bent so that its edge is parallel to the back face A of the slider 2. The erase back core is also bent so that its edge is parallel to the back face A of the slider 2. Thus, the edge of the erase front core 6 and that of the erase back core 7 can be completely connected outside. This permits the spot welding for that connection. Since a tool can be simply used to hold them because the geometry is simple, if bonding is performed, a complete bonding can be made with a thin bonding layer, reducing the magnetic resistance and providing effective erasing. |
