PURPOSE:To achieve a better reproducibility of the results of measurement, by setting a filter paper impregnated with water or a cleaning liquid on the surface of an agalose gel used to move and immobilize an object to press it by a force of 15g/cm<2>. CONSTITUTION:A filter paper impregnated with water or a cleaning liquid is put on the surface of an agallose gel used to move and immobilize an object to be measured. The filter paper shall be the finest possible in the fine and clean in the type. The immobilizing agent therein used may be a methanol acetate solution, for example, when the object to be measured is protein, but preferably a mixed liquid of about 1-20% of trichloroacetate, about 1-20% of sulfosalicylic acid and about 80-95% of ethanol or methanol. The pressing shall be over 15g/cm<2>, preferably about 25-100g/cm<2> in the pressure and about 1-5min in the time. This can remove foreign matters having affinity to the filter paper for protein or the like at a high rate thereby achieving a better reproducibility in the results of measurement. |
