PURPOSE:To eliminate ripple in the spectral reflectance by successively forming a hardening film and an antireflection film on a plastic lens having a relatively high refractive index with an intermediate film in-between. CONSTITUTION:When a hardening film 13 of silicon dioxide and an antireflection film 14 are successively formed on the surface of a plastic lens 11 having 1.57- 1.63 refractive index, an intermediate film 12 having a refractive index Ni represented by equation I and a thickness (t) represented by equation II is held between the lens 11 and the film 13. In the equations I, II, Nf is the refractive index of the silicon dioxide film, Ns is the refractive index of the plastic lens, and lambda=480-600nm. The hardening film 13 and the antireflection film 14 are successively formed on the intermediate film 12. |
