PURPOSE:To enable more effective utilization of incident light energy by a method wherein a film of photovoltaic generation element such as a solar cell which is permeable to a required amount of light is formed on the surface of a clear plate. CONSTITUTION:The film 2 which is made of photopower generation element and is permeable to a required amout of light is formed on the surface of the clear plate 1. For example, the surface of a glass substrate 1 is coated with an a-Si solar cell 2 used as the photopower generation element. The a-Si solar cell 2 is composed of a clear conductive film 2a, a P-layer 2b, an I-layer 2c, an N-layer 2d, and a clear conductive film 2e in the order from the outer surface side. Then, the glass substrate 1 and the solar cell 2 construct a photopower generation plate 3. Transmitting light of - 25% can be obtained with the effect of power generation by varying the film thickness of the solar cell 2 formed on the glass substrate 1, which element can be used as the window glass in addition to the photovoltaic generation element. |
