The invention relates to a closing system for a container with a lid made of rigid material, such as glass or stoneware. The purpose of the invention is to facilitate the positioning of a device comprising metal parts carrying the closing devices. The neck 1 and the lid 10 are each equipped with a metal ring 2, 12 provided with teeth 3 which penetrate by elasticity into a groove 6, 11 of appropriate shape and immobilise the ring. The positioning is carried out by simple axial thrust and an appropriate design of the parts makes it definitive. <IMAGE>
