The subject of the invention is a device for actuating a clutch of the type comprising an annular element intended to exert pressure on the friction surfaces of the clutch and equipped with arms to which a bush is axially fastened, which bush is able to be locked, by means of an elastic ring, in the annular groove of a sleeve controlled by the fork of an oscillating lever which acts on a pair of radial projections of the said sleeve. In the device according to the invention, the sleeve 16 comprises a second pair of radial projections 35 interacting with the said fork 25, so that, by causing the said oscillating lever 14 to rotate, the displacement of the sleeve 16 is controlled so as to give rise to the elastic triggering of the said elastic ring 21 inside the said groove of the sleeve and to lock the bush 13 relative to the sleeve 16. <IMAGE>
